Totle is a small daily puzzle game. This page explains what it keeps about you and who handles it.

What Totle keeps

• In your browser: your game in progress, your settings, whether you've seen How to play, whether this browser has visited before, and a random ID for this browser.
• On our server: each daily game you finish (your moves, the result and your time), under that random ID.
• Where you came from: if you arrived through a tagged link (such as a shared result or a T-shirt QR code) or from another website, which link or site that was, and whether this browser had visited before. This is counted to see what brings people to Totle.
• Page views: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits to each page, with the site that sent you, your country, your browser and type of device, and how fast the page loaded. It uses no cookies and no ID for you, and doesn't follow you to other sites.
• If you make an account: your account ID and email address, and which games are yours. Games you played on this browser before signing in are added to your account.

Cookies

Sign-in uses cookies to keep you signed in. Counting page views doesn't use any.

Who handles it

• Clerk runs sign-in and holds your account.
• Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
• Neon stores the games and accounts.
• Cloudflare hosts the site and the email address below, and counts page views (Web Analytics).

Deleting your account

On the website or in the app:

1. Open the ☰ menu and tap Manage account, under your name.
2. On a phone, the account screen opens on its Account page. Tap ☰ Account at the top of it to see its other pages. On a wider screen they're listed down the left side.
3. Choose Security.
4. At the bottom, tap Delete account and confirm.

If you can't sign in any more, email admin@playtotle.com from the address on the account and it will be deleted for you.

Deleting your account removes your email from Totle. Your past games stay, no longer tied to anything that identifies you. To have those removed too, or for any question, email admin@playtotle.com.

Changes

When what Totle keeps, or who handles it, changes, this page will be updated first, with a new date at the top.
